Updated Isolation/Quarantine Guidance

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility as we continue to battle COVID-19 and do our part in keeping all students and staff as healthy as possible. Last week, the Illinois School Board of Education (ISBE) and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) updated their school guidance in reaction to the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The result has decreased the required minimum amount of time in isolation or quarantine. Robbins Schwartz, a law firm, has provided a flowchart to condense this information down to one page. I hope you find this one-pager useful as a guide to understand the latest isolation and quarantine requirements.

COVID-19 protocols remain a fluid situation, and it is possible that changes may be made in the future as our school district works with the Jo Daviess County Health Department, IDPH, and/or the CDC. We are pleased to announce that we have acquired a full-time nurse, Tana Jones. She has started with our school district today, and we are thankful to have her serving our students, staff and community. Please welcome her to our school community.

I hope you all have a healthy semester, and finish the school year strongly. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
