Adaptive Pause

Good Morning, Warren Warriors:

Currently, our school district has reached its peak of students who are currently COVID-19 positive. Additionally, we have the highest number of students currently out due to being identified as close contacts to COVID-19 individuals. This data along with guidance and recommendations from the Jo Daviess County Health Department, IDPH, the State Superintendent, and Governor has led us to the decision of placing Warren CUSD 205 students in an adaptive pause effective Monday, November 23 through Friday, December 4. We tentatively plan to return to in-person instruction on Monday, December 7.

We encourage families to stay vigilant through the holiday season, so we can safely return to in-person learning on Monday, December 7. For remote learners, we will utilize our normal packet pick-up and drop-off procedures. For in-person learners, packets will be sent home with those students tomorrow, Friday November 20. The District will still provide lunches for any students during this remote period. If interested, please sign up for lunches on the district website.

We thank all of you for your support and cooperation through these challenging times.

Go Warriors!
