Good Afternoon, Warriors:
It is with a heavy heart that I inform all of you that Governor Pritzker has announced the suspension of in-person instruction through the remainder of the school year. This extends our remote learning plan through the end of the academic school year.
Frankly, this is a sad day. No one had planned this school year to finish in this manner. My heart is with all students and staff who were not given the opportunity to have proper goodbyes. I grieve for our high school seniors who had their final quarter of their career at Warren High School torn from their grasp.
With that being said, we will all continue to move forward together. We must be resilient and work together to conquer the hardships we are currently facing. Regardless of our various backgrounds, no one was fully prepared as our lives were flipped upside down.
Please review the letter that is being sent out electronically through SchoolMessenger’s email system (attached below), our school Facebook page, and our school website for more information. I encourage all students and families to maintain constant communication with their teachers. While this does help us track the continuing of education, more importantly we utilize this information to track the well-being and health of our students.
Warren Warriors, thank you for your support and cooperation. We need to remain unified through these unprecedented times. If there is anything we can do for you, please reach out to us. Together, we will battle through this adversity and emerge from this pandemic stronger than ever. Please hug your child and take care of yourselves. Please make sure they know that we miss them dearly.
