11th Annual P.E. Week May 3-7, 2010
Project ACES
ACES stands for
“All Children Exercising Simultaneously.” Its purpose is to call attention to the
importance of youth fitness in a fun, non-competitive way. The
motivation is knowing that children from EVERY state will be participating
all over the country, and in more than 45 foreign countries, at exactly
the same time. ACES is the world's largest Physical Education class!!!!

students worked on Health and Fitness Projects that were on display all week. 7th Graders Jacob Broshous,
Jordan Grenoble, and Brandon Strothman won first place for their “Let’s
Go to the Races” project. 8th
Graders Kyler Calow, Samantha Story, Kelsey Tesmer, and Gavin Leverton won
first place for their “PE and Medicine” poster depicting the Physical
Education Timeline from WWI through present day.
*****All classes
participated in a PE Fitness and Math Challenge comprised of favorite
activities related to Fitness and Physical Education. The students listed below met the challenge
to achieve 1,000 points! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!

PE Week projects were amazing! Themes included Health, PE Recreation, Dance, Games and Sports. Highlights were giant ice skates, homemade barbells, Motocross track made out of homework, Sports for the future, Target shooting with shells, PE Wall of Fame and Student of the Months Photos!!!
