CLASS RULES: -
Students must
bring required materials to class. -
Students must
be in the room when the bell rings. -
Students must
be ready to begin class when the bell rings. -
Students must
work on their homework assignments during the study portion of class. -
Homework may be
turned in one day late for a 20% reduction in credit. Detentions will be assigned beginning
with the second late/missing assignment.
No homework will be accepted after 7:55 the next morning unless the
student has an excused absence or has previously made arrangements with
me. Students have two days to
make up tests, quizzes, and homework when the absence is excused. -
Missing
assignments per quarter:
0 – 4
no change in the grade.
5 – 8
grade is lowered 5%
9 or more grade is
lowered 10% -
The semester
grade will be figured using each quarter percentage and the percentage of the
semester exam. -
Students are
expected to adhere to all school policies and regulations. If you break a classroom rule,
normally a warning will be given on the first offense. If there is a second offense, or when
a warning may not be given, the student may have a conference with the
teacher, may be removed from the classroom, or may be assigned a detention. |
